CASE has selected its Jupiter Fellows for 2011. Throughout the year, the nine undergraduate students will work with advancement staff at their institutions on projects in alumni relations, fundraising, communications or marketing.

Zena Brown is a junior majoring in design at the University of California, Davis. She will work on a project to establish a student-funded undergraduate scholarship, part of a campus-wide effort to strengthen student philanthropy. |

Lauren Charles is a junior majoring in audiology with a minor in business at the University of Tennessee Knoxville and serves as the Tennessee State Representative for CASE ASAP District 3. Lauren will assist CASE ASAP Headquarters in planning the 2011 CASE ASAP Network Convention in Nashville, Tenn. |

Alberto Contreras is a senior majoring in biology (pre-med) at Baylor University. He will work with Baylor's University Development office to research the option of creating a traditions book and assist with projects within How Extraordinary the Stories: the President’s Scholarship Initiative. |

Maurice Phillip Eckstein is a senior from Trinidad and Tobago majoring in conflict management in communications at Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Wash. He will be working with his university's Office of Development to showcase the diversity and multiculturalism of the current student population by helping to produce a signature event for alumni and friends. |

Craig will work to establish strong alumni and student alumni programs with Peacocks from all of the modalities of education offered through UIU (18 centers in the U.S., international campuses in three countries, and correspondence and online programs). |

The Clarence J. Jupiter Fellowship program provides opportunities for individuals of diverse backgrounds to work in the advancement field at higher education institutions across the United States.
