Schools Program @ Hong Kong International School
8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

The Schools Program is dedicated to professionals from K-12 international and independent schools. Learn from fellow peers and speakers in the region and beyond at breakout sessions covering four main tracks: Development, Alumni Relations, Marketing & Communications and Admissions. Get inspired at the plenaries and exchange best practices at roundtable discussions. Join us for networking opportunities in a highly dynamic setting!

Road Map to Advancement NEW!
8:30 a.m. - 4:15 p.m.

The Road Map to Advancement aims to provide those new to the profession or early career professionals with essential fundamentals of advancement. Using a condensed but integrated approach, the full-day session will draw from a variety of key topics that will equip delegates with a solid base of knowledge on advancement.

The Road Map to Advancement aims to provide those new to the profession or early career professionals with essential fundamentals of advancement. Using a condensed but integrated approach, the full-day session will draw from a variety of key topics that will equip delegates with a solid base of knowledge on advancement.

Leadership Forum @ Kerry Hotel, Hong Kong
12 p.m. - 5 p.m.

The Leadership Forum is APAC's executive leadership program that enables advancement leaders from various institutions to look at key leadership challenges and strategies in order to be effective in their roles. This forum is designed for senior leaders advancement leaders and directors.

Welcome Reception
5:30 p.m. - 7 p.m.

A get-together welcome event to celebrate the growing Advancement community! All delegates of the Schools Programs, Main Conference, Advancement Forum in Mandarin and Road Map to Advancement are invited to attend. This is the gathering of all communities of practitioners!

The welcome reception is optional and is included in the conference price. Food and drinks will be served. Attendance must be indicated during the online registration.

Main Conference @ Kerry Hotel, Hong Kong
8 a.m. - 6 p.m.

With content developed by practitioners, this conference is packed with current trends and pertinent areas of interest to advancement professionals. These are delivered through plenary sessions, concurrent presentations and roundtable discussions. Choose from the broad range of disciplines targeted at different levels of experience!

New segments include:

Disruptive Dialogues: These are concurrent and free-flow breakout sessions. Driven by audience participation, these discussions will be conducted by a moderator who will stimulate the conversation based on a particular key topic/question or with a commentary as a starting point.

There will be 3 groups and each will have a moderator. The moderator will make a brief opening statement or question. Delegates will then discuss in small groups and each group will share their key discussion points to the wider group. Question and answer or general discussion will follow each group sharing. Each group could either be given the same or different overarching topics or themes to discuss, such as:

What do you think are the top 5 emerging trends that will be disrupting advancement in the next 3-5 years? How could advancement professionals and institutions adapt to this next wave of change?

What are the top 5 critical challenges facing our institutions in the advancement space? How do we overcome these challenges innovatively and creatively in the midst of limited and shrinking amount of resources?

Inspiration Hour: A "Marketplace" for knowledge sharing and exchanging of ideas for inspiration, featuring a literature exchange and a variety of showcases on projects by institutions as well as the latest products and services that are of interest to advancement work.

Celebrate with the winners of the 2017 CASE Circle of Excellence at this sit-down luncheon.

Deep Dive Session @ Kerry Hotel, Hong Kong
8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Targeted at seasoned practitioners, this full-day program will run alongside the concurrent sessions.

Note: This session is targeted at seasoned practitioners and attendance is included in the APAC18 main conference fees. However, registration is required due to limited seats.

Attendees will join the main conference participants for the networking lunch as well as the Closing Plenary.
